Hardy plants and a low maintenance were our client’s only requests, the rest was left to us. We retained the mature birch trees and a beautiful weeping maple, which set the tone for the design. A naturally shady aspect called for lush and green foliage, and we complemented this with a feature path constructed from large random bluestone pads. The large boulder provides an interesting contrast and focal point.
